‘Success tour’ visits schools on Friday the 13th

Apr 13th, 2012

LAKE WALES – Friday the 13th was a lucky day for Polk Avenue Elementary students because Lake Wales High’s “success tour” visited with drums and pipes, dancing, cheers, basketball stunts and inspirational stories to motivate students to do well in school and pursue their dreams.

The specially selected LWHS students spent about an hour at Polk Avenue, before continuing on to other Lake Wales Charter Schools. The student group included the State Champion Basketball Team, cheerleaders, drumline and bagpipers, Scottish dancers, JROTC flag corps, and International Baccalaureate students.
