Babson Park celebrates Culyer Reading Program

LAKE WALES – Students and staff from Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary recently joined in the 12th annual celebration for a reading program that has become an important part of Babson Park’s success. JH Wilson rewards 61 students for great dedication

LAKE WALES – Hard work and dedication paid off for 61 students at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary. Flash News Network (FNN) members, Safety Patrols and Green Team members were rewarded for their school loyalty and hard work with a fun trip to a popular new movie, followed by a picnic lunch at a play park. “These students are very dedicated to our school. Hillcrest farmers sell onion crop from Kinder-Garden

LAKE WALES – Hillcrest Elementary kindergarten students learned how to combine the science of gardening with the math of retailing when they needed to get rid of a bumper crop of sweet onions. The Vidalia onions flourished in the Kinder-Garden at Hillcrest Elementary. Students produced so many onions this spring that they sold their harvested crop to school staff members for a $2 donation.
