Bok reschedules Open Houses, plans Alum event

LAKE WALES – Bok Academy will host two Open Houses for parents and students, based on grade levels. The Open House for 6th grade students will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7. The Open House for 7th and 8th grade students has been rescheduled for 7-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11.

Hillcrest students meet special LWPD team

JH Wilson students start school with Splash Day

LAKE WALES – Janie Howard Wilson Elementary students earned the right to take part in Splash Day on Sept. 3 as part of the school’s new Positive Behavior Support program. More than 500 students earned tickets to the first monthly celebration, which included a Splash Zone provided by Lake Wales Firefighters.

Bikes help motivate young readers at Polk Avenue

  • Each year, we purchase accident insurance to cover all Lake Wales Charter Schools students during the school day and at school-sponsored events. Learn more about this Student Insurance coverage.

  • BUS DRIVERS: If you have a CDL/PS license, come see us! We are still hiring school bus drivers (full time with benefits). Apply in person at 151 E. Central Ave., Lake Wales.

  • TRUSTEE CONTACTS: If you have concerns, suggestions or questions that cannot be resolved at the school level, please contact the LWCS Trustee who is designated as the parent/community contact for your school.
