JH Wilson hosts Grandparent’s Day celebration

LWHS offers PSAT test on Oct. 13

LAKE WALES – Lake Wales High will administer the PSAT test to the entire 10th grade class on Oct. 13, and interested 11th and 12th grade students may sign up for a small registration fee. Students will take the PSAT during the day on the LWHS campus.

Polk Avenue teachers win award for solar project

LAKE WALES – Polk Avenue Elementary teachers Susan Kistner and Melissa Kelly won a $1,000 grant from the Polk Education Foundation this week for their innovative “Off the Grid with Solar Energy” program. The multi-grade, math and science program teaches students about the positive and harmful effects of the sun.

  • SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE: Each year, we purchase supplemental Student Accident Insurance  for all Lake Wales Charter Schools students during the school day and at school-sponsored events. Families also have the opportunity to buy low-cost 24-Hour Wrap-Around Accident Coverage.

  • BUS DRIVERS: If you have a CDL/PS license, come see us and join our Transportation Team! Apply in person at 130 E. Central Ave., Lake Wales.

  • TRUSTEE CONTACTS: If you have concerns, suggestions or questions that cannot be resolved at the school level, please contact the LWCS Trustee who is designated as the parent/community contact for your school.
