Janie Howard Wilson students visit local Pumpkin Patch

LAKE WALES – Kindergarten students at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary were excited to take their very first field trip last week. The students visited the Pumpkin Patch at nearby High Point Church, where they listened to Halloween stories, posed for photos with a scarecrow, competed in a pumpkin race, and decorated pumpkins.

LAKE WALES – Staff and students celebrated the new landscaping project at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary this morning (Oct. 28) with an outdoor ceremony that included before-and-after photos, awards for student essays and artwork, inspirational singing, and an exciting butterfly release.
