LAKE WALES – Hillcrest Elementary visual arts majors finished their study of primary, secondary and intermediate colors with a fun project: an edible color wheel.
Students used vanilla wafers and tinted red, blue and yellow icing to mix up their secondary and intermediate colors.
“After students created a color wheel with all 12 colors, they were able to eat their cookies and finally lick their spoons!” said art teacher Brannan Lawson.
