LAKE WALES – The Gnats have gone high tech.
Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary now has an Android app — created by SchoolInfoApp – that gives users quick access to the school’s calendar of events, PTO schedules, key contacts, important documents, pictures & links to lots of other information. The Babson Park app allows users to:
- View any of Babson Park’s general or group schedules, and easily add individual events or the entire schedule to your device’s calendar
- Keep friends and family members informed about upcoming events – with “one-click” users can create an email or text that is prefilled with any of the Babson Park calendars
- Quickly get directions to off-campus events
- Access interactive Virtual Business Cards for important school contacts, making it easy to call or email
- Access Quick Links that include Babson Park’s online grading system, classroom website directory and faculty/staff directory.
- View an optimized picture gallery of Babson Park’s groups and important events
- View important documents which may include forms, handbooks or team rosters
- Quick access to Babson Park’s website and Facebook

LAKE WALES – Lake Wales High School has several community partners who will share their parking lots for graduation guests next week.
LAKELAND – The crowd went wild Tuesday (May 21) when third grader Carlos Salgado (pictured) threw out the first pitch at the Lakeland Flying Tigers baseball game against the Fort Myers Miracles.
LAKE WALES – Lake Wales High’s Special Olympic track and field relay team qualified and participated in the State Summer Games May 17-18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
