Oct 26th, 2012

LAKE WALES – Sixth grade musician Courtney Mallett is all smiles Wednesday (Oct. 24) as he tries out the drum set that was donated recently to Edward W. Bok Academy’s band program.

“The addition of a trap set allows us to explore and include music selections and styles that were previously unavailable to us,” said Band Director Tim Cain. “This donation helps usher in new and exciting educational experiences for our students.”

To donate gently used instruments, contact Cain at timothy.cain@lwcharterschools.com or call Bok Academy at 863-638-1010.
