Bok open house on Sept. 27

LAKE WALES – Edward W. Bok Academy will host its Open House and Title I Annual Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 27.

Seventh and eighth grade parents are invited to a 5:30-6 p.m. meeting in the Café.

All parents will have a chance to visit classrooms from 6-7 p.m.  Sixth grade parents should report directly to their student’s first period teacher at 6 p.m. (Seventh and eighth grade parents will receive directions when they leave the meeting in the Café.)

Following the classroom visits, sixth grade parents will meet in the Café from 7-7:45 p.m. for their own meeting with administrators and key personnel.

    LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
