Bok students visit Goodyear Blimp

WINTER HAVEN – Bok Academy teacher Richele Floyd and several students visited the Goodyear Blimp when it was tethered in Winter Haven on Monday.

Floyd teaches STEM classes (science, technology, engineering and math) and works with a special interest group called “The Flying Knights.”

    LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
