Family sends ‘full team’ on first day

Aug 24th, 2012

LAKE WALES – The Almeida family sent a “full team” of Silver Streaks to Janie Howard Wilson Elementary this year, with one child in each grade at the school.

The students (l-r) are fifth grader Zander, second grader Rayce, fourth grader Jayden, third grader Kiara, first grader Trey, and kindergarten student Logan.

“This is very rare for a family to have six children, and to have a student in every grade level at an elementary school at the same time,” said teacher April Barnhardt. “They are wonderful students, and their mother Nichole Almeida served as our School Advisory Chair and has been part of our PTO.”
