First graders eat what they read about

Oct 4th, 2012

Students learned what a radish patch was, and how to grow radishes. Many students had never tried eating a radish, so teachers brought radishes into class for students to try.

“Many students thought the radishes were super hot and tasty, and other students thought they were really gross. Either way, the students had a great time experiencing radishes like the ones they read about in Ettabetta’s radish patch,” said teacher Jenna Barron.
