Hawks compete in NFL Punt, Pass & Kick

LAKE WALES – Physical Education classes at Hillcrest Elementary focused on football skills in September as students competed in the annual NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition.

Pictured are first-place age-group winners (l-r) age 6/7 Lily Borders; 8/9 Jacaree Taylor and Qu’Tashia Anglin; 10/11 Danessa Hampton and John Garcia; 12/13 Kali Gilbert and Joseph Peterson. First-place winners in each age division move on to sectional competition at One Buccaneer Place in Tampa this month.

Physical education coach Debra Knuth taught the skills and organized the school competition. NFL Punt, Pass and Kick is a national program, and champions can make it all the way to the finals held during Super Bowl festivities.
