LAKE WALES – Hillcrest Elementary physical education students are swinging through the First Tee National School Program under the watchful eye of Coach Debbie Knuth.
Students like (front to back) Gabriel Jorge, Joseph Smith, Ashanti Gadner, Joshua Thomas and Angel Lopez are learning golf etiquette and basic skills of the sport that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Staff triumphs in annual softball game
LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
