Dec 17th, 2010

LAKE WALES – Fourth graders at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary got an early holiday surprise when Channel 8 television anchor Josh Thomas showed up in their classroom to speak about his career and the importance of education to any profession.

“The children were mesmerized by his speaking voice, and asked him tons of questions,” said teacher Sharon Kochanowski. “It was a wonderful experience for them to meet someone of this caliber, and hear how important education is to their future career decisions. It was truly an honor to have him visit our school.”
