JHW students fascinated by puppet

Nov 16th, 2012

LAKE WALES –Ventriloquist Kim Livingston visited second graders at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary during the Great American Teach In on Tuesday (Nov. 13) and created a “magic” puppet in front of their eyes.

“Did you see that? That puppet talked all by itself!” one student said, amazed, as Livingston transformed a glove into a living puppet.

Livingston attended Warner University and completed her student teaching in the area before moving away. She recently returned to Lake Wales to become the children’s pastor at South Lake Wales Church of God. In December, she plans a return visit to Janie Howard Wilson with her friend, Rudolph the green-nosed reindeer!
