JHWilson students celebrate with Splash Day

Jun 7th, 2012

LAKE WALES – Before the rains came, there was Splash Day.

On a hot, muggy Monday (June 4), Janie Howard Wilson Elementary students with at least 30 Starbucks earned through the school’s PBS (Positive Behavior Support) program celebrated at Splash Day.

The Lake Wales Fire Department helped by sending a truck and soaking students as they played in the water. Students like Preston Smith (left) and William Spradley are best buddies after a day in the water; and David Young is all smiles after splashing around with classmates.
