Kindergarten learns about community jobs

LAKE WALES –Janie Howard Wilson Elementary kindergarten students are learning about their community from the people who make it special.

“We invited members of our community to talk about their jobs, and how they help us,” explained teacher Elizabeth Matteson. Guest speakers included a pastry chef, a veterinarian, officers from the police canine unit and the fire department, and Principal Barbara Jones.
