Kindergarten shows off special gift

Jun 7th, 2012

LAKE WALES – Hillcrest Elementary kindergarten students celebrated the end of school by reading their own copies of Oh the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss.

Each year, a private donor to the Kindergarten Support Program chooses a book and supplies 400-plus copies as a year-end gift for every kindergarten student in the four Lake Wales Charter Schools elementary schools. The Kindergarten Support Program provides extra academic support in the four schools.
