LAKE WALES – The annual Lake Wales Football Golf Tournament will be held at the Lake Wales Country Club on Saturday, May 12.
The scramble format tournament will start at 8 a.m. The cost is $75 per player, which includes golf, lunch and door prizes.
The football team is still looking for $100 hole sponsors.

Staff triumphs in annual softball game
LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
