LWHS scholarships exceed $1 million for 2010 grads

LAKE WALES – Lake Wales High School’s 2010 graduating seniors are leaving high school with more than $1 million in college scholarships.

The current list includes 103 scholarships totaling $1,017,760.

“The list should continue to grow over the summer as more students are notified of additional awards,” said Cheryl Costine, one of the school’s guidance counselors.
