LAKE WALES – Tryouts for Lake Wales High School Volleyball will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Volleyball tryouts will be held in the LWHS gym from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 through Thursday, Aug. 12. Girls who want to play volleyball at LWHS should plan on attending all three days of the tryouts, and come appropriately dressed to play in sneakers, shorts and t-shirts.

LAKE WALES – The Lake Wales High Senior Class and Weikert Ford invite local drivers to “Drive One 4 Ur School.” The test drive event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

Haines City football game moves to Legion Field on Friday
LAKE WALES – Friday night’s Lake Wales – Haines City football game has been relocated to Lake Wales High’s Legion Field. Haines City High’s stadium has new turf, which isn’t ready to safely accommodate high school athletes and four quarters of football. The grass needs more time to grow.
