LWHS Young Leaders help with holiday baskets

Dec 16th, 2010

LAKE WALES – Some members of the female Young Leaders group from Lake Wales High School took a break and posed for a photo Saturday (Dec. 11). The girls were taking part in a community service project at the Lake Wales Charter Schools central office, where they put together 35 holiday baskets for needy students.

In addition to community service projects, the LWHS male and female Young Leaders groups speak at area elementary and middle schools. They also have regular meetings with guest speakers. Some members of the group have visited Tallahassee during the Legislative session.
