LAKE WALES – The LWHS boys’ varsity basketball team will play during the day on New Year’s Eve against Sunland Baptist Academy from the Bahamas.
The game will tip off at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31 in the Lake Wales High gymnasium. Admission is $5 for adults, and $2 with a student ID.

Staff triumphs in annual softball game
LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
