Readers love the ladybug

LAKE WALES – Hillcrest Elementary first graders Nayely Contreras (left) and Christopher Burnside finish an art project after reading “The Grouchy Ladybug” in teacher Daisy Lopez’s classroom.

“It teaches the importance of being nice and friendly in society. It also shows how beneficial it is to share with each other,” said Lopez. “My students really enjoyed making their ladybugs and comparing them to the ones made by their classmates.”
