LAKE WALES – Janie Howard Wilson Elementary students covered their campus in chalk art last week. Each class was responsible for designing and decorating an area of the school’s sidewalk.

“The kids absolutely loved it!” said art teacher Tiffany Weaver.

Students were inspired by Tracy Lee Stum, one of the country’s leading 3D street artists. Stum visited Janie Howard Wilson on Feb. 20 to talk about chalk art, before creating an image on the school’s playground hardtop.
