LAKE WALES – These teachers took a break from Janie Howard Wilson Elementary’s “Healthy, Happy & Safe Family Night” earlier this month to roll up their sleeves for the Community Blood Center bloodmobile.

Special Olympians compete at State Games

Staff triumphs in annual softball game
LAKE WALES – Age and experience triumphed over youth and energy when Janie Howard Wilson staff faced fifth graders in the elementary school’s annual spring softball game last week. The adults won the game 22-8.
